Description

I took this image in Florida back in 2005 during an expedition to the Everglades. This egret was fishing for dinner. His fellow friends (not egrets) were also fishing, but from the tree behind as seen in the reflection! Enjoy "Paradise!"

Good one! Nice colors^^.
I'd go for a lower angle for a more balanced, 50-50 look with the reflection and a more centered bird, but also I like this the way it is right now.

I like that there is only about two colours that are dramtically captured. Green, White. Wonderful work!

not a bad image
but the bird quality is so so... not sure he is out of focus, i don't think so, he is just too small to have a good image quality i suppose
the reflection is kind of nice but the others white animals are a problem
composition isnt bad but the bird is a bit centered imo
anyway, you know all that

you can't post perfect pictures all the time, nice picture but not as good as your usual

I like the water's reflection and colors Tom. I agree that the Egret could be sharper. I think I understand that you chose this composition to include all three reflections but I feel that in doing so, you created a somewhat off-balanced composition. I feel the main character would be better placed lower and more to the right and that more space was visible above. 1/2 step down in exposure might have helped as well. The other birds .. the reflections ... what species were they if not Egrets? Inquiring birders need to know!
