Description
The night before this shot was taken, Mammoth (Dave's Run) was covered in 24" of fresh snow. Nothing in this world to me is more exhilarating than boarding in fresh, soft, dry powder! All stress, worries and troubles are non-existent during these moments of pure nirvana! All C/C is welcome and appreciated and I promise, this doesn't fall under the manipulation category! See maw, no moon!
*Notice the skiier in the middle of the image! This gives you the sense of scale to how large this particular run is!*
See the larger version and the original to compare for better details!
I've adjusted the levels, increased the sharpness and added a border.

Can understand your passion and joy going down those powdered mountain slops.
No moon so you are definitely safe!
Maybe would have been even more powerful with less shadowed sections of the mountain and a little more pure white coming from the snow (as in the original version).
Great sense of depth!

Cool textures and light

I like the tire marks in the snow. They appear to be more like scribbles made by a child's pencil or crayon.
Good work as always

well, this must of been a hard shot to get so i don't know if it could of been avoided but the misty snow on the right of the photo is a bit distracting.
i still love this photo!

Nice colours, and good composition.

I wanted a surreal look to this image and it appears I've done my job in postprocessing (adjustment levels). I've read the word "eerie" and that's how I wanted the viewer to feel! Riding this stuff, I feel something not of this world! It's total bliss...
