Description

Good morning folks. Here's my latest edition to "The Bodie Project." This is an interior perspective of how life would have been like in the mid 1800s, living in this gold mining town. I don't know about you guys, but I'm glad technology has advanced! Enjoy as this will be my last post for at least a week.

EXIF:
Nikon D200
Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5
HDR @ +1,1, -1 w/ Tone Mapping
1/30 second @ f/11

Please see my previous editions to "The Bodie Project!"

I think the object in the left corner (below) is a bit distracting, but the overall image is very nice! The colors are beautiful: from 'old brown' to green...really nice.
Overall very good work Tom!

The colors are really vibrant ! I agree about the wall on the left, it is a bit distracting, but the composition rules are meant to be broken anyway . Great series. Where did you find a place like that ? It looks very mysterious and deserted.
+10 (thumbup)

As I stated in your previous post I believe this would be really cool in bw!

The colors look a bit to overdone or pushed probably due to the HDR technique!

I mean who has a blue floor at home... :p ..Surreal for sure! ;)

personally i love the project and i think this photo's one of the best of the bunch. i love how surreal the colors look, makes the place look incredibly alive even though everything's old and dusty and shaky

I feel with interior shots sometimes HDR takes away too much contrast...but it is a personal preference, the composition here is good.
